The God of the Bible and Allah of the Qur’an

Part 11 — The Gospel Invitation

A Final Appeal to Muslims and All People: Believe in the Jesus of the Bible and Receive Eternal Life

After examining the differences between biblical Christianity and radical Islamic teaching, the most important question remains:

What must a person do to be saved?

This question is more important than any debate, argument, or religious comparison.

It is a question of eternity.

Jesus said:

> “For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36 NASB)

Every person will stand before God.

Every person has sinned.

Every person needs forgiveness.

The good news of the Gospel is that God has already provided the way of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The Problem: Sin Separates Us From God

The Bible teaches that God is holy and righteous.

Humanity, however, has rebelled against Him.

Paul wrote:

> “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 NASB)

Sin is not merely making mistakes.

Sin is rebellion against our Creator.

It separates us from God.

The consequence of sin is death:

> “For the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23 NASB)

No amount of good works, religious effort, or human achievement can remove the guilt of sin.

We need God’s mercy.

God’s Love: He Sent His Son

The amazing message of Christianity is that God did not leave humanity without hope.

He came to save.

Jesus said:

> “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 NASB)

God’s love was demonstrated through the cross.

Paul wrote:

> “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NASB)

Jesus did not die because humanity deserved salvation.

He died because God is gracious.

Jesus Christ Is the Only Saviour

The Bible does not present Jesus as merely one path among many.

The apostles proclaimed:

> “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 NASB)

Jesus Himself said:

> “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NASB)

These are not the words of a prophet simply pointing toward God.

These are the words of the One who came from the Father to bring us back to Him.

The Gospel Is a Gift, Not a Wage

The greatest difference between the Gospel of Christ and every system of human achievement is this:

We cannot earn salvation.

God gives it freely.

Paul wrote:

> “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9 NASB)

Salvation is not:

Becoming good enough.

Performing enough religious duties.

Hoping your good deeds outweigh your sins.

Salvation is:

Trusting completely in Jesus Christ and what He has already done.

What Does It Mean to Believe in Jesus?

Biblical faith is not merely believing that Jesus existed.

It means trusting Him.

It means changing your mind about your sin and recognising that you cannot save yourself.

It means turning to Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Paul explained:

> “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 NASB)

  • Faith receives what God offers.
  • Christ has completed the work.
  • The sinner receives the gift.

An Invitation to Muslims

To any Muslim reading this:

You may have been taught that Jesus was only a prophet.

You may have been taught that God does not have a Son.

You may have been taught that Jesus did not die on the cross.

But I invite you to examine the evidence for yourself.

Read the Gospel accounts.

Read the words of Jesus.

Ask:

Who is Jesus really?

If Jesus truly is the eternal Son of God, then He is not someone to simply honour as a prophet.

He is someone to worship, trust, and follow.

He alone can forgive your sins.

He alone conquered death.

He alone can give you eternal life.

The Love of Christ Calls Everyone

This invitation is not only for Muslims.

It is for every person.

Regardless of:

Your background.

Your nationality.

Your religion.

Your past.

Jesus invites you.

He said:

> “The one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.” (John 6:37 NASB)

There is no sin too great.

There is no past too broken.

There is no person beyond the reach of God’s grace.

The Choice Before Every Person

Every person must answer the same question Jesus asked:

> “But who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15 NASB)

Is Jesus:

Only a prophet?

Or the Son of the living God?

Is the cross:

A mistake?

Or God’s plan to save sinners?

Is salvation:

Something we earn?

Or a gift God freely gives?

The Bible’s answer is clear:

Jesus Christ is Lord.

He died.

He rose again.

He saves.

Come to Christ Today

The Bible says:

> “Behold, now is ‘the acceptable time,’ behold, now is ‘the day of salvation.'” (2 Corinthians 6:2 NASB)

Do not wait.

Do not trust in your own goodness.

Do not trust in religious effort.

Trust in Jesus Christ.

Believe the Gospel:

You are a sinner who needs forgiveness.

Jesus Christ died for your sins.

He was buried.

He rose from the dead.

He offers eternal life as a free gift.

Paul’s message remains:

> “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31 NASB)

Final Words

The greatest question in life is not:

“Which religion has the most followers?”

It is:

“Who is Jesus Christ?”

Because Jesus said:

> “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live even if he dies.” (John 11:25 NASB)

The God revealed in the Bible is the Father who sent His Son.

The Son who died for sinners.

The Spirit who gives new life.

And the promise of God is this:

> “Whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 NASB)

May every person come to know the true God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

To Him alone be glory forever. Amen.
