The Gentile Church Lie

One In Christ

Most Christians who say they don’t believe in a Gentile Church that has replaced Israel (Replacement Theology), in reality still believe we are a Gentile Church, seperated from Israel.

What they miss is in Hebrews 8, it’s clear that the New Covenant was made with the House of Israel, not a seperate Gentile Church.

Israel continued on from the Old Covenant into a New Covenant through the 1st Apostles, who were all from the Northern House of Israel, except Judus who was from the House of Judah (Jews).

Therefore we have an Israel Church, whom Gentiles are grafted into, and not a Gentile Church seperate from Israel.

Romans 11:17,19,23-24 NASB
But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, [19] You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” [23] And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in; for God is able to graft them in again. [24] For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?
Gentiles are Grafted in, not a seperate identity.

This is what provokes the Jews to jealousy. That the Gentiles have become part of the House of Israel.

Romans 10:19-20 NASB
But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says, “I will make you jealous with those who are not a nation, With a foolish nation I will anger you.” [20] And Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those who did not seek Me, I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.”
I will make you jealous

Our New Identity In Israel

Hebrews 8:6-13 BSB
Now, however, Jesus has received a much more excellent ministry, just as the covenant He mediates is better and is founded on better promises. [7] For if that first covenant had been without fault, no place would have been sought for a second.

[8] But God found fault with the people and said: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. [9] It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not abide by My covenant, and I disregarded them, declares the Lord.

[10] For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.

[11] No longer will each one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. [12] For I will forgive their iniquities and will remember their sins no more.” [13] By speaking of a new covenant, He has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

Hebrews 8:8,10 NASB
[8] But God found fault with the people and said: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. ,

[10] “For this is the covenant which I will make WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL After those days, declares the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds, And write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, And they shall be My people.

Whether Jew or Gentile, we have become one in Christ through the New Covenant and grafted, or adopted, into the House of Israel. Yeshua is the head and Israel is His body.

Jeremiah 31: 26-40

We Are New Creations

Our new identity

When we are born again, we become a New Creation in Christ, we have passed from the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His dear Son. Jew or Gentile, we are now all part of the House of Israel through the New Covenant. Our former corrupt life and culture has been crucified, and we have a new identity. We are Isralites. The Church hasn’t replaced Israel. Israel and the Church are one.

2 Corinthians 5:15-19 BSB [15] And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again. [16] So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Although we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. [17] Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! [18] All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: [19] that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

Our New Identity

The world has been crucified us, and we to the world

Our old life, our culture, our whole identity has been crucified. Put to death. And we have received a new life, a new identity, a new culture. Our DNA has completely changed.

Galatians 6:13-18 BSB
[13] For the circumcised do not even keep the law themselves, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. [14] But as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

[15] For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation. [16] Peace and mercy to all who walk by this rule, even to the Israel of God. [17] From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. [18] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
All who walk by this rule, even to the Israel of God.

Jews & Gentiles Grafted In To Israel

God has finished with Israel under the Old Covenant. But continues on with the House of Israel under a New Covenant. Which includes both Jew and Gentile.

Romans 11:12-16 NASB [12] Now if their wrongdoing proves to be riches for the world, and their failure, riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be! [13] But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Therefore insofar as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry [14] if somehow I may MOVE MY OWN PEOPLE TO JEALOUSY and save some of them. [15] For if their rejection proves to be the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? [16] If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are as well.

the root is holy, and so are the branches.

GOD’S KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD

John 18:36 NASB
Jesus answered, “MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”
MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD
Romans 14:17 NASB
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit
The kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, gifted to us.

The New Covenant With The House of Israel

The New Covenant was made with the House of Israel, not a Gentile Church. Both Jew and Gentiles are grafted into the House of Israel through the New Covenant.

Hebrews 8:6-10 BSB

The New Covenant Is With The House Of Israel Jeremiah 31: 26-40

We Enter the New Covenant through the New Birth. We are no longer identified as our former culture. We are now Israelites. Born of the Holy Spirit. We have a new DNA. We have been born again of imperishable seed. Seperated from the world into Israel.

John 3:1-9 BSB
[1] Now there was man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews. [2] He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with him.” [3] Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” [4] “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?” [5] Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

[6] Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit. [7] Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’ [8] The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” [9] “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.
You must be born again
1 Peter 1:1-5 NASB
[1] Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, o those who reside as strangers, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen [2] according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [4] to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, [5] who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
His great mercy has caused us to be born again
1 Peter 1:21-25 BSB
[21] Through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him; and so your faith and hope are in God. [22] Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth so that you have a genuine love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from a pure heart.

[23] For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. [24] For, “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, [25] but the word of the Lord stands forever.” And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.
you have been born again, of imperishable seed.

The Early Church

The early Church was united with Israel for about the first 300 years. But slowly they forgot that their roots are in Israel, and have became a seperate identity. Till today most believers are taught that the Gentiles are seperate from Israel. This was a doctrine of Rome, to replace Christ with the Papacy. They claim the Pope is on earth in place of Christ. (The word Antichrist means, to be in place of Christ).

Conclusion

For this reason we need to be re-identified with the House of Israel, and therefore we should be celebrating the Feasts of Israel. Not as they did under the Old Covenant, where they were looking forward to what Messiah would do in the future, but looking back on what Christ has done under the New Covenant with Israel. It is finished.

May the Church rediscover her Hebrew roots and restore our identity as part of the House Of Israel.
