Founded by evangelist Kevin Piper, Reach NZ exists to preach the gospel wherever people are and to equip God’s people for evangelism. As a New Zealand-based evangelism and training network, we’re passionate about igniting a multiplying movement of Spirit-filled, truth-grounded believers who are not afraid to stand firm, speak boldly, and endure faithfully.

In 2008, following the loss of my wife to a long-term illness, I was confronted by the reality of my lukewarm faith. Broken and desperate, I cried out to God — and He answered. I heard His voice say, “I’m going to make you an evangelist. Now go.”
That moment launched a radical life of ministry.
From 2007 to 2014, I travelled across New Zealand in a house-bus, sharing the gospel in towns, churches, prisons, and on the streets — wherever the Lord led. Since then, I’ve continued in evangelism, training, and prophetic ministry, seeing the Word confirmed with signs and miracles, including:
- A man healed from injuries sustained in a 1981 motorcycle crash
- A man raised from the dead after an hour with no pulse
- Multiple terminally ill cancer patients healed
- A woman in the Philippines healed from gangrene after hearing the gospel
But the greatest miracle of all? Salvation — when the lost repent, believe, and receive new life in Christ.
Our Ministry Vision
At Reach NZ, we believe we are living in prophetic times. The events unfolding in our world today confirm the truth of Scripture and point to the soon return of Jesus Christ. This is not the time for fear or silence. It’s a time to rise — equipped, connected, and full of Holy Spirit fire.
That’s where Reach NZ comes in.
We are here to:

The Role of the Evangelist
As outlined in Ephesians 4:11–12, the evangelist is one of five leadership gifts Christ gave to His Church:
“Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service…”
The evangelist’s role is two-fold:
- The primary ministry of the Evangelist is to equip the Church to reach the lost with the gospel of salvation — turning hearers into harvesters
- To reach the lost with the gospel of salvation through outreaches with disciples of Christ into the community.
Every believer is called to evangelize, whether on the streets, in workplaces, in homes, or online. The evangelist simply fans the flame and helps mobilize the mission.
Why Reach NZ Exists
We are more than a ministry — we are a network, a training hub, and a launchpad for believers who want to obey Jesus’ Great Commission:
